Enjoy a guided interpretive horseback tour along the eastern border of Glacier National Park into the heart of the Native American land. Native American guides will direct you along trails of mountainous terrain as they share a bit of Native American lore and history. You will have an opportunity to observe wildlife at its wildest along with all the breathtaking beauty of the mountain front, including sights of the famous Two Medicine River Gorge and Looking Glass Pass with unbelievable scenery. Do not forget to bring the Camera!
The guide(s) will stop along the way and while you sit astride your horse, pose you, your family and friends against the backdrop of the Glacier National Park and Blackfeet Reservation Mountains; taking pictures using your camera.
Native American Guides may even stop and pick some wild licorice root, visit with you about the medicinal herbs that they use. Bear sign can be seen and will be pointed out on a number of trees where the bears have marked their territory.
Moose, Elk, Grizzly Bear, Mountain Lion, Black Bear, Deer, Wolf, Beaver and Eagles on the wing have all been spotted on our rides in the 2011 season.
Come along, get off the beaten path and roadways, see and enjoy the back county. Look out from Baldy Butte and see the Sweet Grass Hills some 120 miles away to the east. Have your picture taken by the Native American guides against the back drop of Mount Henry and Glacier National Park.

All rides are charged at $30 per hour.

Full Day ride 8:30 a.m. Trail Sack Lunch Provided
Age requirement per insurance company children must 7 years old and up for saddle horse rides. No riding double. If you have physical limitation please let us know in advance.

Senior Group Trail Rides
Mount up for a relaxing horseback tour along the slopes of Mt. Henry on the Blackfeet Reservation and Glacier National Park.
Native Blackfeet guides will interpret wildlife signs and relate local lore as you enjoy a ride on a seasoned and reliable ranch horse.
Breathe deeply of the sweet pine scented air as the ride takes you on well-worn forest paths that lead into glorious mountain wild flower meadows. There you will pause to view and photograph the beautiful vistas of the mountains and prairie.
We suggest a one hour ride for the less adventurous rider and the two hour ride for the guest who wishes to climb higher for the more fantastic views.

Tour Groups
Horseback Riding: Minimum ten per ride – 1, 2 or 3-hour. Deposit 50% with 25% non-refundable per group (ie $300 down for 2-hour booking, $150 non-refundable if cancelled*)
Whinny Roast Ride: Minimum ten/Maximum twenty. Deposit 25% with 10% non-refundable per group (ie $75 down for 10-person booking, $30 non-refundable if cancelled*)
Steak Dinner Ride: Minimum ten/Maximum twenty. Deposit 25% with 10% non-refundable per group (ie $162.50 down for 10-person booking, $65 non-refundable if cancelled*)
*Cancellations must be received no later than ten days prior to scheduled ride for refund, otherwise entire deposit is forfeited.

Squaw (Dancing Lady) Mt.
Mount up for a day long horseback tour along the slopes of Dancing Lady Mountain climbing high into Glacier National Park from the Blackfeet Reservation. Enjoy breath taking views while stopped for a noon day lunch.
Native Blackfeet guides will interpret wildlife signs and relate local lore as you enjoy the ride. There is a high possibility of seeing Grizzly and Black Bear, Elk, Deer, Moose. You might even catch a glimpse of a wolf along the trail as well as an eagle on the wing.
Bring along your camera as your guide will pose you against the backdrop of the mountains for memories of you on your horse. You will also have ample time to take pictures of the mountain vistas and open meadows of wild flowers.
Reservation – Prepayment required $195.00 includes packed lunch. 50% refundable up to 24 hours prior to time of ride. After 24 hours prior to ride no refund.
Minimum of four riders required (may be more than one party). Parties of less than four will be booked tentatively until the minimum is reached for the ride. Call back phone number is required for confirmation

Western Skies Steak Dinner Wagon Ride
A unique outdoor dining experience in the foothills of Glacier National Park. Climb aboard a horse-drawn wagon for a ride to a crackling campfire beside a rushing mountain stream. Enjoy stories related by Native Blackfeet and cowboys as you feast on a succulent open-fire grilled steak, baked tater, ranch baked beans and slaw. After topping off the meal with fresh baked dutch oven peach cobbler, exercise your vocal chords as you join with the singing cowboy, harmonizing on “Happy Trails”, “Down in the Valley” and other traditional tunes.

Truman (Mouse) and Joy Hall are owners of the Hall Ranch and the 69 Brand as well as Glacier Gateway Outfitters in Montana. Mouse and Joy have been long time Native American Ranchers, raising cattle, saddle horses and World Champion NFR - PRCA Bucking Horses on the Blackfeet Nation. A life time of Native American Ranching experience between them. Mouse and Joy work with programs for at risk youth on the Resveration as well. Take a trail ride tour with Mouse and it is an experience that will long be remembered.

Must be at least 7 years old and 48 inches tall, maximum weight 300 and be able to balance yourself on a moving horse. Glacier Gateway Outfitters and there employees have the finial call as to your riding or not.
